Q: Domain URL Mirroring = Duplicate Content?

Hello! This is an attractive offer specially with the option to use multiple domain names.

However, I've read online that mirroring can damage SEO since it is seen by Google as "duplicate content". Is this true for kvitly? Or do you have measures to prevent this?

Thank you.

A: Hi! That is a very good point to raise.

We address this using canonical URLs for every page. This tells Google and other crawlers which version of a page is the "master" copy. Even if the same content appears on multiple URLs or mirrored domains, search engines will know to count it only once and attribute all authority to your primary domain.

When you set up multiple domains in 🌱kvitly, you can choose to either redirect them to your main address or open the page on that specific URL. Regardless of your choice, your primary domain remains the source for the canonical tag, which prevents any "duplicate content" penalties.

So, from a technical SEO perspective, you're all set! 🌱
