Q: Can you explain how the competitior analysis feature works?

Can you input competitor URLs into KW Hero and see what terms they rank for?

A: Hi there,
__________
TL;DR: The competitor analysis feature is how KWHero decides which headings and topics need to go into your article based on what the top 20 competitors are doing right and what they could do better. For now, you cannot manually insert competitors outside of the top 20. But, you can choose which of them you want included in your article.
__________
The competitor analysis feature is a key part of KWHero's content creation workflow. In this stage, our tool gathers a list of the top twenty competitors that are already ranking on the first page of Google for the search term you're trying to rank for.

The content on Google's front page created by these competitors would form the foundation on which your outline and your entire article would be created by our generative AI.

When you click on the competitor selection icon, you'll notice that among the top twenty, some have been selected and some have been automatically left out.

This is intentional as we understand that not all competitors' content, even in the top 20, would be good for creating an outline with proper heading hierarchy and, eventually, an article.

Now, you have complete freedom to choose which competitors to leave in and which to remove among the top 20.

What you cannot do, however, is get a competitor from outside the top 20 and insert them manually. The good news is that this feature has been requested and the team is looking into shipping it at the moment.

Hope this helps clear things up. Do reach out if you need any further explanation.

Thanks!

Hi there
Since probably most we are not starting from zero, why can we enter the url of our website?

Hi @1167af6f2168462f812352d0c962ff3e,

At the moment, we simply haven't developed that feature yet.

However, as we roll out more updates, we expect to have made improvements in direct relation to what our users will find most valuable.
