A: Hey Appddict,

At the moment we support both uploaded videos up to 50MB and YouTube video sharing in a KYZON Space meeting. Only the YouTube video will be synced with your students in the meeting space when played however. For more information on sharing YouTube videos in KYZON Space meetings, please see this help article here https://help.kyzonsolutions.com/en/articles/10691961-share-content-on-your-screen#h_845d1b9a9e

Let me know if there's anything else I can help clarify and appreciate the interest :)

Is uploaded video allowed is only 50MB?

Founder

Yes, we've found 50MB to be the limit at this stage before some older laptops begin to display a less than ideal experience. Because of this lack of flexibility with video file sizes being uploaded, we recommend sharing YouTube videos/links directly instead. YouTube is simply more optimised for video sharing than our native implementation is currently :)

If a user has latest gaming level computer with top processor and graphics card , can he upload bigger file size (ie 5gb size) on kyzon tier5 plan?

That's a great natural question. The answer is no because even if your hardware can handle larger file sizes, there are other variables which would affect the overall experience. Some examples include your network connection, your participant's computer specs or their network connection. Unless it's an internal enterprise setup with controlled conditions, the performance would be too unstable.

Is kyzon not allow 5gb file upload or attendees experience may not be good? What if presenter may not want to upload video to YouTube..

It's more that the later resulted in us limiting the former. In that we've heard from other users that their participants experienced an unstable meeting experience when the hosts uploaded/shared large video files. Because of that, to keep the meeting experience stable for everyone, we introduced the 50MB video file limit.

That being said, appreciate the feedback! We will definitely look to improve our native video player in the future to allow for more optimised large video sharing but at this stage, for longer videos, YouTube link sharing is our recommended way of sharing videos in our meeting platform :)
