Q: I have a site in 4 languages.

Can I optimize separately for each language?

A: Hello!

Thank you for your interest in Labrika.
It seems that you have also emailed us with the same question, but we will duplicate the answer here.

If you want to get a technical audit, you can run a full site analysis. Then you can give the results to the developers to fix the whole site. Technical analysis does not depend on the language and it is probably easier for a programmer to work with one report for the entire site than with several.

If you need recommendations for content optimization, you need to set up a separate project for each language. Add the site again. In the language settings, select the desired language. In the “URL restrictions” field, enter the path to the desired language version, for example /de/ In the “URL exceptions” field, specify the folders with other languages to exclude their pages, for example: /nl/* /tr/*

Some pages from the English version will appear in your reports because you do not have a separate folder for English. But this is not a problem because you only need recommendations for specific pages and English pages will be in other reports.

For English, you do not need to write anything in the “URL restrictions” field, and in the “URL exceptions” there will be all other languages: /nl/* /tr/* /de/*

If you can’t do it - just write to us, we will check and help you set up.

I hope that helps provide some clarity. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Have a nice day!
