Hey Sumo-lings! 🌟 Quick update on what just shipped in Late. We added three new platforms and tightened workflows so you can schedule more with less effort.

TL;DR:

• Reddit, Pinterest, and Bluesky are now available in the dashboard and the API.

• No add-on. If you have Late, you have these.

Why this matters:

• More reach without more tools. One place for scheduling across socials, communities, and creator networks.

Good to know:

• Reddit requires posting rights and enough karma where relevant. If you cannot post manually, you cannot post via Late.

• Pinterest needs a target board selected.

• Bluesky has a shorter character limit than X. Keep it punchy.

Next up:

• Post Approvals for teams and clients.

• Google Business Profile integration.

• Facebook and LinkedIn first comment (already available for YouTube).

What’s new:

1. Schedule full Threads from your dashboard. Compose an entire thread and schedule every post at once. Publish from the dashboard or automate through the API. Already available for X.

2. Bulk upload posts with CSV. Create dozens of posts in one go, set date and time per row, review, and schedule from one place.

3. YouTube improvements. Instant video uploads for better performance. Add tags, set a thumbnail, and include a first comment when you post.

4. Instagram collaborators. Co-publish with partners and clients by adding collaborators to posts.

5. Bigger uploads. Attach media up to 5 GB.

6. Workflow and admin upgrades. Clone connections between profiles to save setup time. Use shareable connect URLs so teammates and clients can link accounts without logging in to Late. Send team invites with per-profile access.

7. Reliability and UX. Get email alerts for failed scheduled posts so you can fix issues quickly. The text field auto-expands as you type. See media previews from the post list. Use new profile and date filters on the dashboard.

8. CSV extras. Upload PDFs when posting on LinkedIn. Add platform-specific copy when posting to multiple socials. Invite users to multiple profiles.

9. New AI helper in the docs plus a quick demo. Ask technical questions while you work with the API and get instant answers. Watch the short demo to get the most out of Late.

Hey Sumo-lings!

We wanted to give you a quick update on something that’s been changing behind the scenes with Late.

As you may remember, we had to remove X (Twitter) posting from our AppSumo deal shortly after launch. This wasn’t our first choice, but with X’s new (and extremely high) API pricing, we couldn’t guarantee we’d be able to keep supporting it long-term.

Here’s the good news: we’ve figured out a way to make it work again by offering a “bring your own key” model for X posting.

Special for AppSumo customers: you can set it up for free until August 17, 2025. After that date, there’ll be a one-time $49 setup fee.

TL;DR: After the recent questions on our AppSumo deal page, we’re clarifying things: the X (Twitter) integration is being removed from the Late AppSumo deal. Core Late features are unchanged. We expect to offer X back soon as an optional add-on (likely BYO credentials or simple pass-through pricing), details to come.

Why the change

Your questions surfaced real uncertainty around X’s pricing/limits and what’s realistic under a Lifetime Deal. Rather than over-promise, we’re focusing the LTD on Late’s core product while we design a fair, sustainable path for X usage.

What’s changing

• AppSumo-linked accounts will no longer have access to X-dependent actions.
• This applies to past and future AppSumo purchases.
• Core Late features remain fully included in your LTD.

What’s next (good news)

We’re actively exploring an add-on for X that keeps costs predictable for everyone. This will probably be one of:

• Bring Your Own X API credentials, or
• An at-cost pass-through add-on for X usage.

We’ll share specifics (availability, pricing, setup) soon.
