Simple API for a Complex Space

I prefer tools that focus on doing one or two things extremely well, and that integrate with other similarly targeted tools. LATE makes programmatic multi-platform social posting as simple as I've ever seen it. The API is straightforward, well-documented, and *simple*. And it basically snaps in with my workflow tools of choice (eg N8N, Zapier, Pabbly), solving the problem of posting social media content, and leaving me with the creative power to define & organize that content how I see it.

The dashboard is also straightforward. Clear UX, task-oriented design. I had myself up and running in about a minute in the dashboard. After a few minutes of tinkering, I was posting through the LATE API from a shell scripts. It "just works."

There are some hidden gems in LATE that aren't highlighted in the AppSumo offer, too. There is a queue feature, similar to some of the big-name social media management products where you can define posting patterns by day of the week and time. Extremely useful if you're posting at standard times throughout the week. For instance, instead of "post this on Monday at 8am," you can tell the API to "add this post to the next available queue slot." I'd love to see the ability to define multiple queues for different types of posts (eg., one queue for promotional posts, another for special holiday campaigns, etc). Some tiers allow you to invite other folks into the workflow as well; I haven't done this, but the process seems straightforward and security-minded.

I'll add that I've received extremely rapid responses to my support requests. I emailed Miki with a small authorization issue, and he had me set right 20 minutes later.

Overall, an extremely positive experience. If you can code, or use no-code automations, LATE is a fantastic choice for simplifying the exhausting social media API space.
