I have a lot of thoughts, but I keep getting interrupted, so this will read more sporatic than I'd like.

I use a lot of text-to-speech systems, and I'm always willing to try a new one. I had Speechki (and I've had other AI Voice softwares, but Speechki was leagues above the rest, which killed me when they shut it down - and did so AS they were launching new features, like an all-in-one audio-book.

PROs:

Pretty sleek interface.

The voices are higher quality voices, on par with Speechki, a step above most of PlayHT et al. However some of them start VERY natural and then, for some random reason, they become robotic about 2 minutes in.

They DO seem to allow you to clone your voice - I've not tried this yet, but I'll do so when i get up to my office tomorrow with my $200 mic.

Very cool concept, and the content generated SEEMS - at a first play - decent. HOWEVER, I do wonder about the sustainability of this as a constant source of NEW, NOVEL content that is orderly. (want1)

CONs:

There is no way to preview the audio, and while the voices are good, they mess up SO MANY THINGS. This product is unusable for me for all intents and purposes until this is fixed.

The audio generation is SLOW by comparison to other platforms (Speechki, playHT, etc.)

**NEEDS: THE BIGGEST THING IT NEEDS IS THE ABILITY TO *PREVIEW* CLIPS, and EDIT PRONUNCIATIONS. E.G., I have it giving a phone number (say, 877-CallBob) and SOMETIMES it says it just how you'd think, and other times it says "Eight hundred and seventy seven dash C all Bob" or something dumb like that, and it'll do MULTIPLE versions in one blog. This is dumb, and just one example (say you have a non-standard name? Good luck getting the same pronunciation).

We especially shoundn't have to "hope" that it turns out well, burn 12 credits, and then have nothing to show for it because the whole audio is garbage due to such mispronunciations.

2) Let us edit - say - within an hour of generating - for free, so that we can make changes!

**WANTS: 1) Let us import an RSS feed from our blog, so that new content is automatically turned into audio content, and automatically syndicated (or at least "imported" so that we can select what we want to record and not.

2) It IS possible to upload text, but it's oddly hard to figure out how to get there.

3) if it can create blogs, it should connect to our blog and auto-published approved pieces ALONG with audio podcasts.

4) I *THINK* it will autosyndicate to podcast repositories (spotify, apple itunes, etc) but I haven't figured that out yet.

5) Again, it NEEDS a preview/edit feature.
