After reading the reviews on here I was a little unsure about this product. However, I really liked the sound of it and decided to give it a go. I've been disappointed by a few Ai tools here recently.

First the not so great. Audio quality. It's still very good, but the cloned voice isn't quite broadcast standard yet. I uploaded some audio recorded with a good external microphone to clone my voice in a quiet room and when listening on headphones, there is a quality issue. Having said that, the AI voices available in their library are generally very good.

Additionally, it would be great to be able to edit some of audio in the tool itself. As it stands, I need to edit outside of the tool to get it just right. But that should be expected as so much is automated. I don't need many edits, but it would be great to do this in LaunchPod directly. It has quite lifelike pauses in places, and sometimes it gets them in the wrong place.

I also agree with people saying the credit system burns up quickly. However, I would rather be able to buy additional credits rather than ask the founders to provide more as a standard to increase the chances of their survival. Having said that, Tier 1 is really just a generous trial. You'll burn through those credits so quickly and will need to upgrade if you use the tool regularly.

And now the good. Speed. To clone a voice, write a 10-minute podcast script and then generate it at the speed it does is amazing. I won't linger on quality of cloned voices as things like this will improve in time. But overall, I'm super impressed.

As a solution to a problem, LaunchPod is so close to being able to take a huge amount of work off my shoulders. The UI is super easy to work with. Simple and clear. Being able to send your podcast to the various platforms is brilliant. I currently pay Podbean for this service and I will eventually move away from them when I have removed all links that use them.

My podcast episodes usually last about 15-20 minutes and it's just me speaking most of the time. The scripting, recording and editing for an episode like this can take 2 hours or more, so LaunchPod could be a massive time saver.

One thing that would be a game-changer for me would be to have templates. My podcast starts with the same intro music, the same vocal introduction, and then a 45 second intro the the actual episode. being able to have those already in my podcast as a template and then just recording the new episode on the end would be amazing.

Massive potential here and if things move forward then this could be a steal.
