Q: Plans on introducing Google Meeting audio recordings?
Recently had a hybrid Google Meet (English + Hindi) and the transcript was all messed up. To add to our woe, the audio recording was not available as a backup reference. Now, we have gaps in important data points and need to inconvenience our clients to go through the whole hour long meeting again. Does not paint a professional outlook infront of our clients.

We do plan to add audio recording to Google Meet.
For now, you can use our Zoom App which provides both recording and transcripts. However, we don't support Hindi in Zoom App at this time.

Thank you for replying. If I may, may I ask what is the timeline that we can look forward to getting Google Meet audio recordings?
Also, just to point out, had it been any other non supported language (other than Hindi) and the issues reported in the above case study would have been the same.
Hope to see the app grow and see new features with real world utility implemented. The app has the potential to grow with feature updates and right marketing :)
Oh! and BTW I use Fantom.Video for Zoom Meetings. It not only allows audio transcription but also provides video recordings. Bought Laxis just for Google Meet as Fantom does not currently support Google Meet :(

Thanks again for your feedback. Right now we are working on native integration with Microsoft Teams, and may probably move forward to other enhancements like Google Meet audio, and/or video in Q2 or Q3.
Regarding other languages, we do plan to add more languages, but currently there is no estimated time to release yet.

Hope to see Laxis getting more integrations and traction in the near future (hopefully not forcing old AppSumo buyers to pay for the integrations like Google meet or MS teams or additional features like native video recording similar to Fantom's or TLDV.io)
