I have been using this for over a year now - a fantastic tool that they keep developing. We use it all the time to make sure we get the meeting recorded, notes made, social media posts produced, podcast notes done...and the latest meeting summary display is excellent - I could not write it better myself and very accurately.
First, the good: It does transcribe well, though it uses Google's transcription, which anyone can do. It censors "language" as a result. But you do get the transcription time you bought, at least if you upload your audio, as I do.
Now the bad: Support is half-baked, at best. They might answer half the question, and they're rude. "Have you logged into Laxis?" Why, yes, that's why I'm asking the question! Some promised features are impossible to find, and may have been folded into services that are now add-ons, which isn't fair (support won't respond, so I couldn't say). Half of my dashboard is now advertising for other paid services. And the templates, which it really wants you to use, don't apply to everyone, so I'm always perplexed at which one to choose, and whether I can get away without choosing one.
It's frustrating for something that should have been so much better. Laxis owes its AppSumo customers answers, and better treatment.
Wouldn't recommend doing business with this company. Deal promised premium plan updates, has instead created a monthly pricing tier for appsumo and locked promised features behind them.
The appsumo page clearly says: - ALL FUTURE PREMIUM PLAN UPDATES
The pricing page for Laxis clearly states under the PREMIUM PLAN:
