I am a big user of transcribing apps, and very happy to find Laxis that can replace the free Otter which had become very limited for my needs.

What I like most:
1. The ease of use, very simple to use
2. The quality of transcription
3. The AI writer is a joy to use for the meeting summary and the follow-up email; it writes better than what I could imagine myself writing. As a coach, it is a great service to be able to do a follow-up email of the session summary after the session. I never had the time or patience to do it, now, it's being written for me. It makes me very happy as it makes me look very professional and so organized
4. Generous allowance

What I am waiting for Laxis to have to make it an unmatched-by-others transcribing tool for me:
1. Speaker identification - this is imperative to have for me, without it, it takes a long time to review and edit the content
2. The ability to record from a laptop from an audio/video played on the same laptop - I use MacBook and can't record simultaneously as Otter does. Using a different device to record what's playing on your laptop just doesn't cut it
3. The ability to share the transcript and/or meeting summary using a link rather than having to download it first and then share it as an attachment.

All in all, very happy with Laxis and hope it continues to develop, improve and be more complete.
