I started using your tool. And what was my surprise to see that you had deducted my credits, while I had not exported anything. I only did tests (choose the avatar, change the text). Is this normal? I bought two tools here that do a bit of the same thing (Pipio and Spiritme) and the credits are only deducted once the export is done; which seems a bit more normal to me. Thank you for confirming.

Mar 8, 2025A: Looks like you reached us through the live chat already, I'll answer here for others who have the same question:
We must count all generated audio including editing ones, because it costs resources to generate anything. Otherwise people will abuse the service (they will essentially have unlimited quota by generating and not exporting anything, other services have gone down due to unlimited quota abuse).
That's also why we give really high quotas for the plans, 200,000 for tier 1 and 1,000,000 for Pro, reset monthly. Testing a few things with short text should be negligible in terms of credits compared to these quotas, especially since they are reset monthly.
This would be a deal breaker for me, as AI and users can generate very low quality and make multiple mistakes during testing which require multiple runs to iron out. Credits should be consumed only on final output.
