We had answered this same question below, i will paste part of that answer again at the end of this reply.
You can change your chrome extension in leaadblasta by simply deleting any category and items and adding a new one and you can even change the app info and download a s a new zip file.
Its does the same thing.
I will do a video on this for members area but its literally just building as normal with a new name in an existing app and anyone using the app quickly see's how this is done.

We understand your concern, but there's virtually no difference either if you edit the existing app or delete it then recreate it. Deleting the chrome extension would be more problematic than editing the existing one.

Leadblasta provides Real Time updates to your chrome extensions. on Leadblasta dashboard you can change every bit of the chrome extension which would only take couple of minutes. You'll only need to upload chrome extension to Chrome Web Store only once and rest of the update would be done via Leadblasta APIs. IMHO Leadblasta was developed in such a way you'll hardly need to delete your chrome extension from the system.

If you delete the chrome extension that would also delete the associated data from the system, e.g. you would lose abilities to send push notifications to the existing users of your chrome extensions. plus all the installed extensions would stop to function for end users.

On the other hand editing the existing app would provide you several advantages, you can keep the existing data which you'll gather while the old version was live and still change every bit of it and make it new.
