Q: Hi Kevin, Leadfwd looks a very promising product! Picks the best features form leading products!
Two questions please:
1) Have you considered offering LinkedIn prospector on it's own? My use case, and I am sure for many others, is only prospecting on LinkedIn. While I understand that you have a strong foundation in email and LinkedIn is a new layer added on top later on, for users like me it's not needed. But the pricing packages in this deal & more importantly on your website of course factor in the cost of the email service. If LinkedIn prospector was offered stand-alone at a lower price, I would happily subscribe to a monthly plan.
2) On Tier 3, regarding LinkedIn prospecting only, does it mean that each of my team members can run automations? Or if there are limits, what are they? What automations can be run? What difference a basic account and a Sales Navigator account make in automations?
Thanks
Jay

Oct 2, 2024A: Hey there Jay! Thank you for that! Appreciate the feedback as well.
1.) I haven't thought about it that much because it's not really supported by our core methodology. We look at this as a holistic outbound solution that it's build on quality prospecting and multichannel outreach - specifically with LinkedIn helping to bolster cold email outreach. I think the noise levels that automation has created for B2B prospects is too great to overcome with just one channel, whether that's LinkedIn solo or cold email solo. Two or more is better. But obviously, if you're doing something that works... keep doing it, until it doesn't anymore :)
2.) Yes that's correct. Since our LinkedIn engagement is powered by a Chrome Extension, we don't need or have a 'seat-based' billing model. So you can invite your whole team and they can execute their own Sequences, LinkedIn engagement, etc. The only limits we have would be based on safety settings to prevent your account from drawing negative attention from LinkedIn for excessive use.
LinkedIn Premium (i.e. Sales Navigator) would be more advantageous because it supports a greater number of activities on a monthly or weekly basis. With LinkedIn Basic, at best you're going to be limited to around 100 new invites per week. However, I've seen this be randomly reduced for free accounts to only 3 per day at random. You'll draw less scrutiny from LinkedIn with a Premium account and you'll be able to view more profiles, send more invites, messages, etc.
If you'd like to hop on a quick call to discuss, happy to do that. Just drop an email to help@leadfwd.com and reference this conversation - and I'll pick up the ticket so we can connect.
Cheers,
Kevin
Thanks Kevin! Very helpful. I will be sure to book a call to go through this in detail. Keen to learn "your philosophy" on prospecting and cold email first-hand. Have read many blog posts already from your site:) You certainly have a unique perspective and I am seeing more & more GTM leaders' thinking evolving along the same lines as you.
Ha, yes. Its a bit lonely at times in the minority of GTM motions, but the trend is starting to change. It has to change... my .02 is that automation became too easy and too many sales orgs automated bad tactics. High volume, low effort tactics have saturated most industries and made sales harder than ever because of the noise. It also put much space between sales teams and their prospects.
