A well developed tool with annoying communication
Hi everybody,
first of all: I will NOT consider the low Limits for this review. Yes, they are terrible low and obviously this deal is meant for upsales of monthly payments. Well, okay, but what do you expect? A well etablished tool for 39 Dollars Lifetime ... complaining about low limits is just not fair. And even if I would prefer to pay 100 Dollars for a Code and stack five of them, it´s simply not what they offer. They offer very low limits for a very low price with a well etablished product. That´s the offer. And if everything would work and be correct described I wo uld give 5 Tacos.
The onboarding is terrible: First my email was denied because "Already a user with this email is existing", but when I click on "recover password" it says "No user with that email". Okay, I took a different email and it worked, but I couldn´t choose a password. I requested the password-reset and needet four (!) activations until it worked. Half an hour sitting on this damned user-creation. :(
The first thing I was interested in was the sync-functionality. There where multiple requests for 2-way-sync in the comments and no clear answer. Sometimes this question was ignored, the best was "Depends on the bridge, you have to look into the bridge to see the exact funktionality.
I simply hate this unspecific answers. The answer I found so far is simply NO, there is no 2-way-sync. Or better: I found none. But I would have to look into every single bridge to see if there is any 2-way-sync. I don´t think there is one because the whole structure looks different.
The next thing I looked into was the bridges: Facebook custom audience was one I saw. So I tried to choose it. After choosing it says "This is not in your plan". Well, thank you, so why do you offer it in the drop-down? Do I now have to test every single connection if it is "in my plan". I totally accept if you don´t add them all in our plan, but please hide them from the drop-down or grey them out, I don´t want to get a message like this in the last possible moment.
Well, to be honest, there is a page existing where it clearly says what is NOT includet, which is a fair step. But in the usability it still is annoying not to see what is includet and what isn´t.
However, the software is usable and stable. But ... useless for me. I got Pabbly Connect, KonnectzIT, Syncspider, Integrately, all of them with way more connections then Leadsbridge. And even with Encharge I can create way more connections (bridges) then with this offer. There is no 2-way-sync, a low limit and the functionality of Leadsbridge is already covered with many other Deals from Appsumo, so honestly: Who is this offer for? I can´t imagine in which situation this deal would be usable.
But besides that: Price & stability is fair. And I give 4 tacos mostly because of the cheap price.

PS: As an etablished tool I would not want my product to be rated with 4 tacos only because of the price. But this is not my choice.

Not really! We created this deal not as a lead magnet, but as a way to allow tons of new users - mostly new to advertising as well - to start appreciating the quality and incredible usefulness of LeadsBridge as an automation tool. Maybe you're just not one of them and that's ok. 😉
- "LIMITS TOO LOW"
Thank you for not making a point about this one, but I would like to address this nonetheless. 400 leads/mo can be really life-changing for some businesses, especially if they are high-quality leads generated through ad platforms of which we are official partners (e.g. Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok). I know that usually, AppSumo deals are more "generous" (UNLIMITED features, HUGE discounts, etc.) but in this case, we are offering a mature SaaS (more than 6yo) that is a Facebook, Google, TikTok, and LinkedIn Official Partner. Not too shabby.
- "ALREADY A USER WITH THIS EMAIL IS EXISTING"
If you scroll up to "Plans and Features" you can see that one of the points states: "Only for new LeadsBridge users who do not have existing accounts." So, If you are an already existing LB customer, you cannot use the same email to access this deal. It has to be a different email. That's just how the deal was designed. 🤷♀️
- "2-WAY SYNC"
LeadsBridge mostly revolves around Lead Generation integrations and Audiences/Conversions integrations so no, a 2-way sync is not our primary focus...but we can make it work! You could make a 2-way sync by building 2 different mono-directional bridges (e.g. SFDC → Mailchimp and Mailchimp → SFDC).
- "FACEBOOK CUSTOM AUDIENCE (or any Audience Sync in general)"
Generally speaking, it's pretty useless to sync an audience if you have less than 1,000 contacts. Facebook just won’t match the profiles correctly. And this deal offers 400 leads/mo so Audience Sync is not the primary use case for it. Regarding what you said about hiding them or greying them out of the dropdown list, you're 100% right! Thank you for the great suggestion, I will pass this on to our UX team ASAP.
