Leadster caught my attention as soon as it appeared on AppSumo, and I opted for the T3 plan, mainly because it includes the Whitelabel option. Currently, I have 2 active chats on 2 different websites, and at first glance, I am quite impressed.

Okay, first, let me highlight the points I'm very positive about. There are many more to describe, but I'll mention a few:

1. Using Leadster is very simple, even for non-techies. The dashboard is user-friendly and pays attention to small details, making it easy to set up your chat and flows step-by-step.

2. Implementing the chat on a website was quick with a small piece of script.

3. Creating a flow is very straightforward. The conditional logic is also easy-peasy. It's no more complicated than creating a form.

4. There are plenty of integrations, such as Zapier and Webhooks, which are crucial for me.

5. You get a clear overview of all the data Leadster collects for you. Additionally, it can integrate with Meta and Google Ads to provide even more insights. I still need to test this feature, so I can't say much about it yet, but it's good to see the possibility.

6. It feels like a mature product and gives confidence that it won't disappear anytime soon. A lot of time has been invested in this product! (Even though there are still lots of areas for improvement).

7. You can qualify leads within your flow to determine their quality. A small point here is that this should ideally be possible for every question/step.

Now, the areas I believe need improvement:

1. Starting with the most important, Whitelabel! Unfortunately, Whitelabel isn't truly Whitelabel as agencies would like. We want to offer this to our clients under our 'own' name. Unfortunately, this is not yet possible. Whitelabel currently means just your logo in the dashboard and in an email from Leadster. There is a lot of work needed to make it truly Whitelabel, and I don't even know where to begin with the suggestions.

2. The program has crashed several times while creating flows. This forced me to refresh the page and lose my flow (I have a fiber optic connection and a strong signal). So, saving frequently is recommended for now!!

3. Language. We primarily use it in the Netherlands, so we'd like to see the Dutch language included. This has been mentioned in the questions on AppSumo, and the response was that it's added to the Roadmap. Unfortunately, I don't see it on the Roadmap.

I think it would be easier for everyone (in any language) if we could customize the words in a flow ourselves. For example, words like: 'Online now', 'By clicking above you accept the Privacy Policies of this site and this platform,' and 'Your answer...' in the chat bubble.

My conclusion: Leadster, as far as I know and have read, started in Brazil and has been translated into English to go global. Here and there, you still encounter Portuguese words, but this is not at all bothersome.

The points needing attention are known, so I don't think I'm saying anything new. It probably needs some time, and I'm confident it will get better. Especially with a (critical) AppSumo community that loves to help and see their purchases thrive (if Leadster grows, we grow with it). We have good expectations.

Now, the most important thing, generating leads with Leadster. I know of no better program that does this for a lifetime with a one-time fee and does it well. With the A/B testing function, you can keep testing until you have the ultimate lead machine on your website.

I currently rate Leadster at 3.5 - 4 Tacos. This is because a true Whitelabel function is missing, and I find the Whitelabel feature somewhat misleadingly advertised. The option to change the text to your own language is also a missing feature (in this case, Dutch).

Buy or bye? Absolutely a buy!! All the positive aspects of Leadster outweigh the (still) areas for improvement. We are keeping Leadster and look forward to positive developments.

The program is at a stage where you can use it effectively to generate leads on your website.
