QUESTION: Is this a custom CNAME project domain/subdomain (for each project) or is this a custom subdomain on YOUR domain?

Thanks for the question.

Each project comes with its own settings so the custom domain is not an exception.
When we say custom domain we mean your own domain name (like roadmap.backup-guard.com) which is pointing to our domain via CNAME record.
