I have bought quite a few LMS deals on appsumo and yet when Learnyst came around, it still had such robust features that I had to go for it.

I like the options offered in this deal. Video hosting obviously had to come with limits and I am pretty satisfied with the 100 video limit I have got in tier 3 and an option to upgrade if I need more videos. However, external video hosting has become cheaper these days and this was never an issue for me. What mattered to me was the robustness of the platform and the features I got.

It seems like a lot of features available in the LTD have been developed and refined over a period of time. In particular, the highs for me are the following :

1) Lesson types are exhaustive with audio and quizzes but more importantly for me unlimited SCORM uploads. SCORMs are the lifeline of my courses and learnyst hosts and display them beautifully.

2) The integrated website builder is just top-notch and very easy to build a professional-looking website just by drag and drop.

3) Option to bundle courses into packages

4) Essay evaluation from inside the platform itself using all sorts of annotations. This is a game-changer for conducting subjective tests for me.

5) In-built marketing email messenger.

6) Newsfeed to write blogs and scale up for SEO

7) In built support system for my customers. Don't need to buy additional software for that.

8) The mobile apps I have tried seem pretty cool in looks as well as functionality and the add-on pricing seems very decent as compared to similar offerings in the market I have seen elsewhere. I plan to upgrade to this add-on eventually.

9) Ability to have unlimited courses and active students on a scalable infrastructure is such peace of mind as I can go bullish on scaling my business without worrying about performance issues.

10) Zapier and Pabbly Integration just complete any other needs that I may have to integrate into my learning system.

Final word: They have many add ons but people don't see them the right way. If none of these add-ons was present, the same set of features would seem like a good LTD to many people because I feel the suite of features available without add-ons is better than many other top LMS systems in the market. The add-ons must be viewed as additional options available to enhance one's LMS. The features available without add-ons are enough to come up with a decent and robust online school. Overall, definitely recommended deal by me for any educator.
