Q: YOU CAN ONLY SEND 100 EMAILS PER DAY!!

So, I bought the app but I'm frustrated and hoping to get clarification here. I've also reached out to their support on Lemlist but haven't heard back.

Upon registering you are forced to setup your Lemlist account with a connection to a Gmail account. You then have two options:

1) Send your campaigns from your gmail email address (ie: yourname@gmail.com)
2) Send your campaigns from aliases you create in your gmail account (ie: yourname@yourdomain.com)

Now, regardless of if you are using your own SMTP server for sending emails from: @yourdomain.com due to sending through Gmail alias you are restricted by Gmail daily send limits of 100.

*So, although this deal is for 250 daily emails sent. You are actually restricted to 100 per day by Gmail.*

Now, if you pay for Gsuite, you may be able to send up to 1,500 per day. However, not until you've been a Gsuite customer for at least 6 months and accumulated credit for this. So, for those first 6 months, you will still be capped at 100 email sends per day through Lemlist.

Very frustrating. I thought that sending 250 per day was a decent offer, but there is no way to get even half of that from their system. The most you will be able to send through Lemlist which is capped by Google is 100. Then after you are a 6 month old customer of Gsuite you can send the 250 Lemlist promises.

SOLUTION: Maybe you have something better than this and I'm open to it. But I don't see anyway around Google's send limits other than bypassing Google. So, if Lemlist integrated the ability to send from your own SMTP server, not through a Gmail alias. Then you would only be capped by your SMTP server daily send limits and not Gmail's.

@Lemlist team - Guys, can you please add the ability for us to connect to SMTP directly? You said that you have avoided this to have better deliverabilty rates. BUT, that doesn't even make sense. I can currently use Lemlist to use my own SMTP through Gmail alias which means you aren't getting Gmail deliverability rates but instead whatever my server delivers.

I believe Gmail allows 500 recipients per day through the Gmail website.
