Q: Hi - I’ve been looking for a solution to manage my Appsumo purchases.
So if I connect to my bank account, will it show me an overview of all Appsumo activities? I don’t use these products on my Google workspace but on my personal gmail. How will that impact?
@Appsumo - I wish you had a better solution to this management challenge. Why would I go from 330 apps now to a 1000 in a year if there is no fine way for me to manage it? Being able to sort purchases by tags is the least you could be doing :)
Would love to hear how other hyper-sumolings are tackling this!
Thanks!

May 14, 2024A: Hi Sumoling84,
Great question! Especially since we ARE on Appsumo after all 😂
LicenceOne will be able to detect all of your different payments too Appsumo, but because the transaction description doesn't contain the name of the app, we won't be able to automatically link it to your LTD.
At the moment, you'll need to head into the Appsumo application in LicenceOne, head to the "Spend" tab, and then reassign the transaction to the correct application.
Normally for Google Workspace users, we would also be able to detect those Appsumo apps as they login via Google there; but if you are on a GMail account unfortunately we'll only be able to track financial information or applications that you've added manually.
Side note:
We did have a few users ask if we could integrate with Appsumo to recuperate all of your apps and spend automatically, or even generate a CSV export, but it seems that there's no technically viable way to do that except scraping; which is notoriously annoying to maintain.

Barclays integration
At the moment, we don't integrate with Barclays UK. I'll be making an update to our UK banking integration roadmap item this afternoon if you'd like to follow that: https://feedback.licence.one/feedback/23918/
Alternatively, we're more than likely to integrate with Xero and Quickbooks in the immediate future if that might help out 🙂
Kind regards,
John
Also, do you support Barclays U.K.?
Thanks for your reply!
1) I looked at the link you've shared and it shows Barclays as supported but you've mentioned it is not.
2) Can it detect my Coinbase transactions? Or is it only SaaS purchases?
3) Will it give me an overview of how much I have spent with a particular vendor (e.g since 2018 you have spent £2000 in total on ----.com)
1. Ahh damn! We've just updated that FAQ. To be fully transparent: we used to fully support UK banking institutions up to a few weeks ago, when the Financial Conduct Authority obliged third-party providers (like LicenceOne) to create a subsidiary in the UK and apply to be certified by them to deliver banking integration services.
2. We can certainly detect each time a transaction goes from your bank account to Coinbase. We won't be able to detect which crypto you purchased though.
3. Yes. When you click on the applicaiton view we will have module that shows the "Total spend" for an application. With that said, without a banking integration, we probably won't be able to get that information until we've launched our accounting integrations (Xero and/or Quickbooks).
