Q: MS Word
Is there a way to install to MS Word without using AppSource? I don't want to install it organization-wide as I am evaluating.
Also, have you addressed the issues that caused the problems with Word shown in the bad reviews of that app?
P.S. This text was enhanced with your product; it's great, but without an easy user install for Word/Outlook, it lowers its usability.

Edited Mar 1, 2025A: I don't think there is other way to install rather than going via MS Word add-ins tab. Some of the issues we were able to fix, most of the reviews were around how this integration is implemented (working in a sidebar as a mini helper and not the way it does in browser within the text itself) - and this has not changed yet as it is very complicated project to pull off with our current resources, and I cannot justify it business-wise.

Oh sidebar makes sense, that's exactly how others work. I haven't been able to try yet.
Do you mind explaining what you mean by the addins tab? At the moment it installs through the online AppSource which from what I can see is org wide but I may be wrong.
Perhaps a short instructions page on how to install may help?
Thanks for the fast reply by the way!
You are welcome! From what I know, you can go to Word and it has add-ins menu (exact path can differ in different versions), and you get it from there - it will be Microsoft store.

Found it
Outlook -> Home Tab -> All Apps -> Add app -> Search and add the extension
Word -> Home Tab -> Add-ins -> Search and add the extension
Could this please get added to the install page to make it easy for users?
By the way, while I'm typing this I can't press reply because the issues icon is over the send button
