Big disappointment
*What do you like most about this product?*
The price, my pro license for Grammarly was up for renewal and I was looking for an alternative.
*How are you using this product, and how has it helped your business?*
I’ve installed the Chrome plugin and copied text from Word into Linguix Documents. I’m not impressed until now! The documents online have no markup and are limited in characters. I’m an author, my content is long - I write books for heaven’s sakes! - and it’s a pain to loose all my formatting (like chapters and emphasis)
*Why do you think this product would benefit others?*
I’m not sure. It doesn’t help more than the free tools that are available out there and it takes an effort to use.
*What improvements would you like to see?*
# Add-ins for text editors like Word
# Plagiarism check
# opportunity to switch off certain checks (‘want’ do you mean ‘wall’? kind of feedback) or accept all (like em-dash)

May 9, 2024Hey, went through your review, and still do not understand the reason for one taco. Here are the reasons:
1) There are limits for content length in ANY grammar checker. What limits do you wan't actually?
2) Accept all - it is not a good idea, as this will lead to bigger confusion, software is not a human proofreader, you need to remember that.
3) Plagiarism check and Word plugin are on our roadmap.
4) About formatting, for now we did not promise the web app has it (so I did not get why this is a big disappointment), but we are working towards adding it, all the work under the hood is already done for that.
