After using Gramarly for years I decided to give Linguix a try.

Overall, I like Linguix. I really enjoy using the sentence simplifier function. I like being able to rewrite sentences within the text using AI.

There have been timeouts when using the simplifier and sentence rewrites, perhaps that is because of OpenAI, I don't know.

Now, Grammarly catches a lot more "errors"; whether they are really errors is another question. There have been some disagreements between the two pieces of software on comma placements here and there. In those situations I had to agree with Grammarly.

Linguix also tried to add periods in the middle of sentences a few times.

Linguix doesn't seem to detect passive voice like Grammarly does.

I can't seem to get Linguix working inside WordPress; it works just about everywhere else, however.

Grammarly has its own quirks; none of these grammar softwares are perfect.

I'm happy with Linguix but it isn't perfect which is why I'm giving it 4 tacos.
