Not a Grammarly replacement
I have been using this regularly since May 2023. Soon it will be a year of regular use for me and I have not found this to be a good investment. I have seen no improvements or added features, the results are buggy 50% of the time. Spelling suggestion corrections are regularly wrong or not identified as wrong or the wrong word entirely.
I expected some growing pains as Linguix matured, 10 months in, I have yet to receive an email about updates/improvements. The roadmap is fictional; click the link in the Founder's Message section and see for yourself.
The only communication I have had since purchasing the LTD was to buy the Turbo upgrade to add instant phrase insertion via keywords.
This seems to be another AppSumo deal where development stops, so the creator can focus on new ventures.
I sincerely hope the app will get better someday.
As is, it does hold some value for copy suggestions, and I do use it when proofing documents and transcripts.
I had to change my English settings to US because the British English was giving me too much UK-specific terminology and there was no Canadian choice, so now I have to use another spellcheck to correct the US English spellings.
Make it "Better" tends offer way too descriptive suggestions, but "Simplify" works pretty good.
If the spellcheck and synonyms features were improved I would be happier overall. I use the document editor website and switch between it and Google Docs. However, I think Google will make this service unnecessary in the future.
Quirky but useful, just don't expect development and fixes. 9 months later and I haven't seen any. On a positive note, I recently discovered the Blog has some good posts.

- drasticdally improved paraphrasing
- added integrations with Figma/Miro
- added Let's write content generation via AI
- delivered an API for developers to use
