Linkjoy had a major outage due to this.
Also, a measure to consider - Switchy allows only embed widgets or scripts on custom subdomains & domains that users own and all users that use malicious scripts or widgets gets banned.

We have set up an automatic detection system for scams and other harmful links, but honestly there are always some that fall through the cracks, that's why we have a very reactive human moderation which removes these links in max one hour of existence
And for the HTML code in the pages, it is what we are going to do too, namely to authorize the display of the code only on its own domain.

That is Brilliant. I think with this feature it would be the best link tool around. I will recommend to others as too.
