Feature-rich platform with active development and standout support
I picked up Linko while comparing it against Switchy, and the two tools are more different than the category overlap suggests.
Where most link tools stop at shortening and basic UTMs, Linko adds bio pages, QR codes, hosted files, and custom redirect logic. For anyone juggling links across multiple channels or campaigns, that consolidation has real practical value. Less tab-switching, fewer tools to maintain.
What surprised me most was how complete it feels. Not a rough beta, not a feature checklist with half the boxes actually working. The interface is clean, the features are properly integrated, and it held up under real use without the friction you typically expect from newer tools.
The tracking flexibility is worth noting specifically. At higher tiers you can build more structured tracking setups beyond basic UTMs, which starts to matter once you are managing multiple campaigns and need tracking to stay consistent and structured.
Support was also a standout. I ran into a small issue, reached out on a Sunday, and had a resolution that same day. That never happens.
The pricing is the honest tradeoff here. Tier 1 is not a low entry point, and some of the more useful capabilities are gated behind higher tiers. If you are only looking to shorten links occasionally, there are cheaper ways to do that. If you are actually running campaigns and want one system to manage the whole link layer, the value becomes much easier to justify.
If you are already thinking beyond basic link shortening, this is the kind of platform you grow into, not out of.

Linko
Apr 20, 2026Hey Dave,
This is one of the most thorough and well-articulated reviews we've received; thank you for taking the time to write it (and the detailed comparison with Switchy!).
You nailed exactly what we're building toward: a single platform for the entire "link layer", short links, bio pages, QR codes, files, and structured tracking so marketers aren't duct-taping four different tools together.
Really glad the Sunday support came through. 😊 That's not a fluke; we genuinely believe responsive support is part of the product, not an afterthought.
Thanks again for the honest, balanced take and for the head-to-head writeup. This kind of feedback helps us keep improving. ❤️
