My intention was not to create podcasts with this tool, but to convert websites and pdf documents into audio files for faster consumption of the information. There is no delay in its operation. During some transitions, it spells out some words instead of saying them, which makes some of the transitions a bit goofy. I was very impressed with the quality of the voices as well.
