Great product with a lot of potential. Honest and very hard-working founder!
Most people in the AS community have tried to buy into failed roadmaps, deals that did not made it, or terms that were not honored. I therefore mainly look into the company and founders behind a deal before I pick up anything.
While I have not known Anan (the founder behind Listnr) for a long period of time, it was quickly to see from various communities, he is both an honest and very hard-working founder. I therefore bought into the Listnr deal, when I saw it as a good but not excellent deal – simply because I trust Anan.
It quickly became clear, Listnr came with many great features, but also launch several new features at an impressive speed.
Anan also make sure to include the users from the Listnr community. The other day, and new Chrome plugin was implemented. Todays update was - 'More voices to be added in the next 1-2 days, bringing the total to 60+ languages and 270+ voices, new French, Spanish, Swahili, Thai, and other voices coming soon!'.
So, I’m confident when I’m saying, I’m happy to have invested in a deal, that went from good to great, and I’m absolutely sure it also will go to excellent, now when I have seen the hard work from Anan.
Great support for an ever evolving product - good stuff
The executive team here is incredibly responsive and is proactive in creating updates and new Innovative features for this product. This ended up being a golden purchase and I'm really glad it's in my arsenal of LTDs. They have lots of exciting things coming up on their roadmap and I recommend purchasing this one.
I bought this recently and it’s a great tool to convert news articles and listen to them while I’m on the go. They’ve recently released the Chrome extension so expect the process to be even quicker. The voice quality is good and I was told they’re working to bring even higher quality voices.
Going to try and convert some of my content to audio and create a podcast soon. The founder Anan has been very responsive to help iron out some technical issues I was having, and looking forward for further updates!
Great product - does what it does. Certainly worth the money. Listnr has a simple to use and understand interface. I would also say that support is very helpful and super swift for me.
I am so glad to have discovered Listnr and am thankful for the special AppSumo pricing.
Hello, I finally found out how your tool works, but to be honest I must say that your online help is very poor. And once one gets on your help page there's no way to get back to the dashboard. Otherwise after a few tests, the result is quite good without changing anything in setup.
Well, this is not the point for which I write this review. I'd simply would like to know when you'll add child voices to the French ones. Because this is the only reason why I bought Listnr.
I am not why this happening, first coupon problem - had to mail them, next tone
Not impressed, I tried French - trust me - omg its horrible - it pronounces elle as Telle - went through different voices in French. I can't even produce the subjects correctly, forget about podcast.
So here's my review after actually started using it and set it up for both of my main use cases:
👉 Personal: I have a few new subscriptions that I don't have the time to read everything, but since I drive quite often, I can turn them into podcasts and just listen on the go
👉 Blogs: For the same reason, but for our blog audience. I can embed People can listen to the articles on the go, and subscribe so they don't miss an article/episode.
Set up was easy. I was able to create my first "Show" from my phone while waiting to pick up my kids. I used Crello (for the first time) to create a cover for the show 🙌 then wrote a few descriptions with the help of Writesonic, all under 15 mins from my 📱
Once I got home, I did the following: 📄 Copied and pasted my blog to Listnr. 🎙 Pick a voice. Right now some voices have more word limits than others. I used Angela (US) because she's nice and she lets me convert 5k+ words 😍 🪄 Format the article - Super easy: you highlight the parts you want to add delays. I usually do 3 seconds from the title, 1 second after a subheading. There are other options you can do such as get the AI to spell out, change tone etc...
✅ All done in 15 mins.
1 tip: Add a full stop (.) to the end of your subheadings, so the AI can do a natural pause and not end the word abruptly. If they could work on the formatting to make it a default for subheadings that'd be great but not a pain for me. Anan said his team will be working on that.
The embed link was ready so it took me a minute to paste that to my blog post 👍 They also have a walkthrough guide to show you how to set up on Spotify too. https://listnr.crunch.help/start-your-first-podcast/spotify-listnr
After setting up, Spotify said it might be a few hours until it was ready, but after a couple of minutes, my link was live! https://hi.houseoflittles.com/spotify
Now our audience can listen on the move, and once they subscribe, they can listen to other episodes whenever we release them too!
I got to know Anan before he launched on Appsumo and I can vouch for him and the team. They work super hard to improve Listnr and updates after updates are flying out.
If any of the above use cases related to you, in your next cigarette/coffee/tea break grab a code and try converting one of your content pieces. I got all of it set up in under an hour and cannot be happier with the result.

Perfect for my marketing videos
I am building some marketing videos for some clients that I plan on putting on youtube and I needed some voice over.
After talking to members of LTD groups in Facebook, this software was recommended.
I tried it and I think it does a pretty good job.
The amount of words is pretty generous.
So, overall I'm a happy cat.
