Very good voices, but even better features
Like many people I'm looking for the best TTS platform. They all have pros and cons. Some have great voices but terrible UIs (Yes, I'm trying NOT to look at you...) and others have great UIs and features but the voices aren't as good.
And some have limited characters and no preview (ie Listnr - but I think free preview is coming), where as LOVO has unlimited conversions but limited downloads - unless you max out the tiers.
Currently I'm testing Listnr head-to-head with LOVO and I may well end up with both for different uses. It's too early to say for sure, but I think I prefer one or two of the voices on LOVO over the voices on Listnr... but, that's not comparing apples with apples.
Listnr is much more than TTS. It's a podcasting platform that includes TTS. It also has an embeddable player. I'm possible more likely to use Listnr to add voice playback for our written articles, and perhaps LOVO for more specialised uses where I want better quality but at the cost of time and effort.
Highly recommended you at least give this a spin if you're in the market for either podcasting or TTS.
And if you're in the market for both... why haven't you already started testing it?! ;)
