Litlyx has become my drop-in replacement for Google Analytics. By using Claude Code and their API, I can get almost the same level of reporting and insights, without invading people's privacy. This way I can plan, build and deploy websites directly from Claude Code, making decisions based on actual analytics pulled from the API. The team is responsive; they listen and act on feedback. I look forward to the dashboard being mobile/responsive optimized. Another request they're working on is providing an API endpoint to block an IP so I can avoid myself getting tracked and dirtying the data by simply keeping a script running. Highly recommended product.

Ideas for improvements:
- Being able to save filter sets so I can go directly to analytics for one domain, not needing to change domain every time
- Better responsive/mobile experience
- Extended API
- A/B-testing tool using Litlyx events
- MCP server for even better AI integration

With only 1 project this is not usefull for agencies

I purchased this deal last month to compare it with other privacy-friendly solutions for tracking visits to websites and landing pages. This tool doesn’t disappoint: it’s user-friendly, can exclude your own visits, domains to track are easily configurable, provides a shareable link (small hiccup with trend chart via public link, but I'm sure this will be solved) for reporting, correct tracking, … very promising! This will become my go-to solution for clients who request privacy-friendly analytics.

I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this app at this time. The initial release felt more like a minimum viable product, and there hasn't been much improvement since. While they are considering new features like heatmaps, they've stated that AppSumo users will not have access to those due to increased costs.

Given how new this tool is—and the fact that they're already limiting future features for early supporters—I even believe a refund from AppSumo is warranted.

While the deal was live on AppSumo they responded to questions from AppSumo users stating that heat maps were on the roadmap, BUT they made no mention that it would not be included for AppSumo users. That's very misleading. Here is are two questions that were posted (You can find these for yourself on AppSumo.):

Now here is a copy of the email from Antonio sent June 13. 2025 in response to AppSumo user complaints:

We’ve seen some early reactions from AppSumo supporters and want to clarify what’s coming.

AppSumo users will get access to:

- Advanced analytics (like time spent on each page, country/region/city location and so on...)
- Sharable links
- Comparison features
- AI tools (we’re improving these a lot... and they’ll always be available for AppSumo users)

However, features that are very database-intensive... like heatmaps and session recordings... are still under evaluation and, IF developed, will not be included in the AppSumo tiers.

Hi just a short description from my usecase. I develop sites for clients and help them to reach their online goals in many ways. So i have a professional view on datacollection and data analytic. Litlyx has a fance and nice interface in dark mode. Great! It showes its really limited basic data in an nice design. But to compare it woth Google Analytics or Matomo is lile David compared with Goliath. Litlyx showes only very basic data that might be enough to get an idea of user dropped on the website and what pages are mostly visited (just to mention two main cases). But it does not help a lot in understanding why users bounce, what path they took and so on. To me (highest tier) it is a nogo to have an upsell for exporting the data as csv file. Thats so much basic that i never thought it could be an upsell for a startup product. As well the AI capabilities are very limited as it just spids out what a simpe free chatGPT question will tell you as well for free. 10 AI Questions a month is the limit. So this is not usable for professional data analysis or usecases. I will refund it as Matomo has the a much better functionality but for free even litlyx has the much better interface. So if you are interested in some basic information about your Wordpress pages it might be enough. Good luck!
