A: Hi sumo-ling, Our full pricing is here https://lounjee.com/pricing
After your stacked codes, you will either decide to go to the free plan (which is full featured and limits you to 1k members or events up to 50 people) or a standard plan (which is $199/month)
Our promise is that if you can't monetize with 1k members, then organize a call with one
Typo there Price is $99/month after your (up to 3 stacked) annual codes are used up.
At the point where you get 1k members, we will help you monetize your community if necessary but should be easily able to generate far more revenue than that.
This is due to the functionality of the platform- you can monetize with events, ticket sales, event sponsorship, group sponsorship and much more.
If you can't monetize at that stage, I'll let you use the platform for free..

Q: I signed up for a free account to test Lounjee out.
Great concept and congratulations on your launch.
Here's a few questions I have...
1) "Looking for" and "Can offer" sections are great ideas....I really LOVE this concept!
2) I like the enhanced profiles but will they be able to be customized to match the community in the future?
3) For an example of # 2: Industries are great for a professional community but can those spaces be customized to be sports teams or locations of where members live for example?
4) Admin can't post in chats...am I doing something wrong?
5) Admin can't edit description or entry question in channels after the group has been created
6) Sometimes events won't save....haven't figured out why yet...have you run across this
7) Can we change the European date format to the American Date format?
8) Can we change the header color and minimize the Lounjee branding?
Thanks for your response and congratulations again!
A: Hi tim, thanks for this great question and thanks for the kind words
We intend to add customized fields in our roadmap next year. You have a good example, where members could have a custom sports team field (which you would populate options for) and members would then select this and match based on it. We don't have that today - but it's coming.
The current fields are targeted for professional communities. Things like looking for people to network with, experts, jobs, business partners, exchange of ideas etc. They are generic yet incredibly powerful (find people hiring others in your industry and city)
I just double checked and admins can post in chats so drop us an email to support at lounjee.com with a screenshot and someone will dive into it with you. Events are also saving fine - but to see one as a member, it has to be published - again chat with our support team to dive into it with you in case that's not it.
For events, you can set a timezone and we detect from the visitors browser/system settings what time to show them the event at (their local time)
Finally, the header in the members area is black - with fully white main area. It's almost branding-less. So you can't change header color as such - but Lounjee's logo won't show. On signup, sign in, forgot password pages and group pages, your logo is showing! So the group experience will feel like it is customized to your brand (although we don't let you choose colors as such)
Hope this helps, and thanks for asking such great questions.. Patrick
A: hi there - thanks for your question.. At the end of the year, your standard subscription will end and you can either upgrade or go to the free plan (1k members, 50 event attendees).

A: Hello Sumo-ling, thanks for this question. We have updated our listing to allow a stacking of up to 3 codes - which will give you a 2nd year or 3rd year of service at this incredible discount.
On the free plan, you can have up to 1k members and up to 50 attendees on an event so if your community is growing steadily but slowly, you'll still be able to revert to the free plan and do lots with your free subscription (at the end of your year - or 2nd or 3rd year depending on code stacking)
If you have more than 1k members in a premium community solution like this, you'll definitely be able to fund it through sponsorship, ticket sales or event exhibitor/sponsor revenue so hopefully this gives you what you need to help us grow your community with you..
Its not clearly mentioned in your listing! There is cname change available?
I bought the deal, I can see my account is mapped to standard plan. (If so, its very less to test your platform) Do you have any event link (full setup) Can I import attendees? Since stripe is not supported in my country? Can Zoom meeting app/restream integrated?
A: Hi Rockson, The limits of the Standard Plan are - 5k community members - unlimited events - 200 attendees per event If anyone feels like you need something more, just drop me a line at support AT lounjee.com
You can absolutely sell tickets or manage registrations with any platform you like. Or you can do free events in Lounjee or paid events in Lounjee with our stripe integration. If you use another event registration platform, then you can add them in Lounjee with excel upload (or add them manually)
We use the Zoom SDK. That means you paste a Zoom (or WebEx or YouTube) link in the admin dashboard and attendees will then be able to just stream it. They don't have to install zoom. They don't have to manage a set of meeting links or enter a password. And you'll have polls, Q&A and private notes in Lounjee right beside this Zoom stream.
We don't support CName setup - your URL would be groupname.app.lounjee.com and the product is whitelabelled with your logo so it looks like your destination
Q: Hey Sumo-lings,
Patrick here, co-founder at Lounjee.
Excited to launch Lounjee to the community here on Appsumo!
Lounjee helps you create, build & engage your community. We're a bit different to the other community platforms out there, because we put a huge focus on helping the members of your community connect with each other 1-1.
This means you can create an engaged community without creating lots of content or spending hours and hours managing the community.
We all know the problem with Facebook groups and LinkedIn groups (apart from the fact that you are literally growing their audience when you create a group) - not optimized for helping people connect or discover other members who can actually help them...
If you ever joined a slack group with more than a few hundred people, you'll also know that even when people share good stuff, the question remains "who is this person" and "how do i really connect"
So we built a platform that puts your members first and helps them to achieve their outcomes.
WHAT DOES LIFE LOOK LIKE WHEN I GET THIS DEAL * You'll get a link to create an account in your admin dashboard and you'll apply your coupon code * You will spend a couple of minutes to customize your group's profile page (logo, description) and you'll create a few chat channels (think Slack or Discord) * You will invite members to join (share the group link) * You can now engage members from your dashboard
WHO SHOULD NOT GET THIS DEAL? * If you are a course creator or want to merely have a community who pay to access content, then there are better tools for that * If you're happy with your current Facebook/LinkedIn group (fans of a brand might be, because the followers have no interest in connecting with each other) * If you just want to have forums for product support, again there are better, simpler tools for that, we are much more than a forum)
WHO SHOULD GET THIS DEAL? * You have a community where members want to connect and/or collaborate * You have an existing community on another platform with low engagement and you want that to change * Your audience loves connecting with others (scientific communities, expert communities, entrepreneur communities, alumni groups, chambers of commerce and more are good examples of this but there's loads of others too) * You do webinars to your audience with Zoom/Webex/other but you really want an event solution that lets you have an agenda, registration, ticketing, sponsors/exhibitors, networking etc * You use a bunch of existing tools (Slack, Facebook, Zoom, Hopin, a CRM tool, an email marketing tool, blah, blah, blah) and your members have to manage a directory of logins * You want better communication tools so you can email/message/broadcast by any segment you like * You want to grow a community but did not have the time needed nor resources (content, know-how, tools) - until now of course..
Looking forward to seeing you grow your community with us - and thanks for your support Patrick
