"All future Luminar AI and Luminar Neo updates" - With a catch

They recently introduced extensions, which wouldn't be a bad thing if it didn't feel like they should be part of the core updates, instead they cost £100+ and they even have a roadmap of all the, "Hey, this looks like a core feature update".

Really disappointing when a company says, "YOU'LL GET ALL THE UPDATES" pulls something like this... Otherwise its a neat tool... But this practice is not neat...

At the time that I'm writing this review, this deal is gone in two days. I've had my eye on it for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I'm happy I did. I shoot in RAW w/ my FujiFilm XT-3 and editing those photos can be time consuming.

Luminar helps reduce my editing time substantially with similar results. If you're a professional editor editing photos for clients then I don't know if this is the best tool (it might be), but for someone like me shooting in RAW for my own websites, blogs, and using my own photos instead of stock photos from third-parties, it is amazing.

We were in NYC last week, and the day we went to Brooklyn, the sky was grey, poorly lit, and just otherwise uninspiring. I had no control over how the sky looked on the day we planned to spend in Brooklyn - So I used Luminar to spruce the sky up.

It's crazy how awesome the pictures look now by simply using software to change the appearance of the sky - and you truly cannot tell that it's been edited unless you are a pro and are looking at all of the details such as lighting angles, shadows, etc.

Just awesome. This software will be getting used over and over again.

I just installed Luminar and have played with it for about an hour or so and oh my goodness this is powerful! It repllaces photoshop and lightroom easily and best of all you dont have to go back and forth between different programmes to achieve that polished finish.
One of the features I was especially keen to try was the erase tool and it does not disappoint. Its notoriously difficult to remove objects that dont stand out from the background and I was able to remove objects with just a single click eventhough they were not contrasting from the background.
Another feature that I really wanted to try was the sky-replace feature. You have this amazing photo but you blew out the sky and thats typically done in photoshop, but LUMINAR does this so effortlessly! its one click and its all done!
The portrait features are also amazing. I absolutely hate doing portraits because of the difficulty of getting the eyes right, well I went through the features one by one and if I didnt tell you I was using Luminar you would think that I had some serious photo-chops and the white in the eyes was just right. So yeah am a huge fan thanks Luminar for bringing this to Appsumo!

Sure, you could spend hours in photoshop, but this will give you great results in a fraction of the time. Skylum software is well-established and has been around for years. In fact, I've used their previous products and they have never disappointed. This deal is not to be missed!
