I love this software.

I think I started using Luminar somewhere when it was around version 3-ish.

I was totally happy with—and have been using Luminar 4— for at least a couple years.

I jumped on this deal when I saw it become available. It seems like many people don't realize (yet) that Luminar can totally take on editing using layers. I'm not *as* comfortable with editing in layers just yet (I have in the past, but only on occasion --- why? Because the AI built into Luminar alone allows me to do what I need to do to dozens and 100s of photos to make them pop)

Luminar vs. Photoshop:
It's not a PS replacement. If you draw, paint and design or mess with layer styles, sure. You'll need to rely on Photoshop.

However, if you 'retouch' and sweeten images. And if you're like me: that you just are going to have to face buckling down, carving out an hour (or more) to try this … and try that … and apply curves… maybe, … maybe mask out the sky and replace it...

then kiss that wasted time goodbye.

ANY image that is worthy to pick for social media use is worthy to crank through Luminar first to generate that POP! And since the name of the game is all about scroll-stopping images, Luminar has earned its place as a go-to tool in my small team's arsenal.
