1. Do you have an API? What kind of endpoints does it have?
We currently offer a Zapier integration that you can use to send notifications / webhook events to any other integration that Zapier offers. It can trigger if you sent a first email to a new lead, when you sent an email in general, or when you received a reply from a lead. We do not yet have an API besides this, but I'm very curious what use case you have in mind! Definitely open to discuss it.
2. Do you have a deep discount overcharge if we want to go above the monthly allotment?
TLDR: Not by default, but it's possible if you'd like to :)
Once you reached your limit, you can't send any more emails unless you upgrade to a higher tier/plan (you'll see a pop-up that tells you this). We chose not to automatically charge for emails outside of your plan by default so the user doesn't see unexpected charges, but this is possible if you'd like to. We usually discuss rates based on the volume of emails the user expects to send.
3. Can we weave static information into messages, like a gif that links to a video?
Luna learns from any edits you make to an email. So if you paste static info (like links, or sentences you'd always like in there) into emails a couple of times, you'll see that Luna adopts this when it writes the next batch of emails. GIFs are currently not yet supported, but this is something we have on the roadmap.

4. How reliable is the non-english generated copy? Was some of it proof-read by natives?
Currently, only English is native. We're now starting to make languages native one-by-one, based on demand (we automatically track this based on what our users have set in their settings - Dutch will become native starting end of next week, for example). Once we make a language native, you can be sure that many natives read and approved of the copy :) Just curious - what languages would you be planning to write in?
5. Where do you store data? Do you comply with GDPR by signing a DPA?
We store data in the EU and we do have DPAs in place with our subprocessors :)

The language barrier with AI has been hard. I've tried a few tools and none has been able to generate PT-pt copy properly. I've found it's best to generate in EN-us and apply a translation API instead of forcing the output on the model itself. Which way does Luna work? Can I test the platform before committing?
The plain API/webhook access would allow us to use Pabbly, Make, Easyflow, etc to connect with Luna, without the high costs of Zapier. Plus, it would be extendable for any systems we build ourselves.
Finally, you can give the user the option to be charged on overages or be put on hold until the next month. I'd prefer to have the overage without being forced to upgrade as it would allow for sudden spikes.
Totally agree - we struggled with this for a while. We currently write the email copy in English and translate it with the Google Translate API, but this definitely leads to some misses.
Next week, we're launching our first native language other than English (Dutch), and the results are actually amazing (we're Dutch ourselves)! We found that if we get a couple of natives to join us and write thousands of examples to train the AI, the results are amazing. So that's what we'll do for every language from now on. Really appreciate the feedback regarding the API and the overcharge settings. I'm curious: how would you use Luna? Do you have an agency or an own sales team? 🤔
An API would be great !
We already have a few tools we combine for :
- a multichannel outreach approach,
- email templates filled by AI,
- with image personalization as well.
Luna api could provide a regular list of leads automatically into this workflow instead of us filling the pipelines manually in big batches.
It could also suggest an alternative email content to "review" so that we spend less time overall rewriting, in favor of just choosing/combining what email content we want to send.
