Could be GREAT GREAT, but self imposed limits with no foresight make it OK
This is one of those situations where this app is 100% a keeper, but has obvious failures. Some I KIND of saw on the roadmap, but not really.
1st, the already great:
1. Super intuitive and simple.
2. Can import in your own leads list
3. AI generates relatively good suggested emails, with the caveats below in the bad sections.
4. Mobile app (I didn't even know I needed this, but part of the reason you do is because of the limitations they inflict upon you, and themselves, with no real solution to overcome it)
5. Modern interface
6. The SEEM like they genuinely want to make a good product. If they make 2 improvements (ACTUALLY be able to schedule emails AND either remove limit altogether, or more preferably, add the ability to keep and remember some content on regeneration, more detail below) then this will be a 10 taco deal, even with the email limits.
2nd, purposely sucks (this is why a removal of 2 tacos, this is terrible not because of lack of insight or unanticipated, but purposefully limiting)
1. Limits on regeneration of emails, go into much more detail in the next section. But this is on purpose, kind of for an understandable reason, but the AI is not good enough yet to justify it and there needs to be a way to keep what you like. I am often getting rid of the same type of message, regenerating a new one, only to get the same type of suggestion right after it.
2. No ability to set the "schedule" for the emails to go out!!!! You have to wait 20 min to an hour after every 10 emails. I KNOW that I only get responses to cold emails that are sent first thing in the morning on early weekdays, there is NO possible way to send 900 emails like that, and would literally kill MY most productive times regenerating and writing emails. 100% you should be able to set these whenever you have time, and then have a schedule that they go out on (this is the sole reason for removal of 2 tacos, it is purposeful for the limitation on timed intervals, with NO thought to how to make sure people can actually use the monthly credits)
3rd, needs improvement:
1. AI suggestions often repeat and with limited tries to get something decent, you do not get a good option with 3 tries sometimes.
2. Ability to save good parts of an email that you like, for next generation and also for the AI to remember and try to copy in future emails. Many times I like the first part of an email, or the second part, and I want the OTHER part to regenerate, but it just rewords the part I dont like, and changes the part I liked to something I DO NOT like. Now I have used 2 tries, and the third try completely fails, it is a total loss.
3. Leads arent great, but I import my own in anyway.
It would be a HUGE improvement to be able to mark parts of an email as good, for the AI to improve itself.

May 9, 2024Hi Michael! Thanks so much for your honest review, really appreciate you taking the time to write it. Thorough user feedback is the most important thing we can get at this moment. We know that Luna is not perfect yet, and we have a beautiful list of suggestions that we've started working on right away. The email scheduler for example is expected to be launched this week already!
But most importantly, please keep sharing your experiences like you did here. This will help us to build the best Sales AI in the world!
Have a great rest of your day Michael!
