My Goal: Try to cold contact new leads

Problem: 1) Trying to bodge together various other tools 2) Managing data across various platforms.

Solution: It could be Luna.

**** Here’s what I love about Luna *****

1) It simplifies the cold emailing process (you can more-or-less do it all in Luna)

2) The UI is good

3) It’s got me doing cold outreach again

4) I’ve had some replies/success so far

5) Getting started is fairly easy

6) The accompanying research is well presented

**** Here’s what needs to be better ****

1) I would like to write/edit less than I currently am.

2) Inbox feature is inconsistent. Some replies arrive in Luna's inbox. Some don’t

3) Reduce bounces ( although they may have fixed this in latest update )

4) Learn to hot-swap Brand Names ( If I use brand X in body copy, AI should swap brand X for brand Y in future emails)

5) Must be able to control when emails are sent. We need delayed sending like in Gmail. Currently makes outsourcing to VA harder.

6) Need to be able to turn off Follow-Ups. Or set the number of Follow-Ups.

7) Need to be able to copy text from inbox on Android (I had a bounced email that I wanted to send in a LinkedIn message, but couldn’t copy text to do so).

*** Here’s what’s on my wishlist ***

1) Currently firstlines are tailored for general business / CEO. Firstlines should be tailored to the context of the individual. I.e, different first lines for HR, CTO, CFO.

2) Add ‘send to back of the deck option’. Some leads might be good in a year, but not right now… I don’t necessarily want to discard them forever.

3) Need to be able to mark lead/data as bad (e.g., lead left business or lead has said “not interested”)

4) Separate First Emails from Follow-Up emails. If I’m going to outsource to a VA, I only want them focused on 1st Email tasks, not Follow-Up Email tasks. The current flow forces user to deal with Follow-Up Emails and therefore makes outsourcing of 1st Emails to VA harder.

5) Copy Settings —> Company description. It might be a good idea to have a CTA input box as well. Right now, I drive leads to read a piece of content. In the future, I might want leads to book a meeting or buy a tripwire product.

6) Zapier connection —> Have ability to send dummy data for testing the connection. I can’t set-up and test the connection without it.

7) Enhance accompanying research, show me a few of the latest LI posts from the lead.

8) Make it so that LI profiles are easy to view in tandem with Luna. Currently my process of clicking through to LinkedIn profiles and learning about lead/company is cumbersome. I wish there was an easier way of viewing this data alongside Luna, without having to constantly close/open/move windows. OR…. make Luna so good, that I never need to Open LinkedIn.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Luna is a good tool.

And if the bugs get worked through and the developers listen… It has the potential to be an AMAZING TOOL… a tool that makes cold outreach possible for small companies.
