Lunacal is a great booking tool that offers branding portfolio features, unlike other similar tools. However, there were some minor issues during onboarding and configuration
Lunacal is a solid tool, but I ran into a few bumps at the start. The setup wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped, and there were some tech hiccups to sort out. Once those were behind me though, it turned out to be super handy for boosting the visibility of my work bio and portfolio with booking features. It's got the potential to be a real game-changer for me, especially with features like showcasing testimonials images with links and FAQs or a custom carousel. Anticipate some delays in connecting Microsoft Teams for work planner if your company enforces strict app policies. The Lunacal support team was awesome and quick to help every time. Setting up my custom domain was also a bit of a hassle with lots of steps emails needed for each step during configuration and delays, partly due to a global Azure issue at the time. It took quite a few emails to get through it all. For advanced and feature-demanding users like me, Lunacal has some common startup issues, including difficulties with the text editor in adding or saving the extra white space between texts and problems with saving favicons, which are not related to caching or duration (pretty sure the autosave function didn't work there on my favicon upload section). The white label feature is quite good, and I truly appreciate the Lunacal team for incorporating it. However, on Slack, the page title (preview) still displays 'Lunacal' with no option to modify it. Overall, Lunacal is great for connecting with meeting tools and managing your schedule for customers, leads and guests. It's intuitive and customizable, even if there are minor issues here and there. I'm sure they will fix any minor issues with Lunacal in the near future or continue improving their product. The customization options for the booking page, including its appearance, workflows and style, are truly exceptional and impressive!
