What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
Before launching HeySummit, I ran a digital agency and launched several SaaS products. Through that journey, I saw first-hand how difficult it can be to consistently generate leads, build authority, and drive revenue - especially without a big team or tech support. HeySummit was born out of that pain point: I wanted a repeatable way to create impactful, content-driven experiences that grow an audience and a business.
What 3rd party tools is your product critically dependent on?
HeySummit isn’t critically dependent on any single third-party tool. Instead, we integrate with a wide range of popular video and streaming platforms (including Zoom, YouTube Live, StreamYard, Vimeo, and more) so our users can choose the setup that works best for them. Our flexibility is part of what makes HeySummit so adaptable to different event types and formats.
Where is your customer data stored?
Customer data is securely stored in the US using encrypted infrastructure and strict access controls. We take data protection seriously and only work with trusted providers that meet high security and privacy standards. Customers have full control over their data and can access, manage, or delete it at any time through their account.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
HeySummit was born out of real frustration. I had launched several SaaS products and ran a digital agency, and every time we tried to build an audience or launch something new, it felt like starting from scratch. I wanted a better way to generate leads, build authority, and drive revenue - something scalable, repeatable, and content-driven.
That’s when I realized the power of virtual events. Workshops, summits, courses - they weren’t just content. They were momentum builders. But actually setting them up? A total mess.
HeySummit was created to solve that. I’m passionate about it because I know how hard it is to grow something from the ground up - and I believe that creators, coaches, and educators deserve better tools to turn their knowledge into impact and income.
What problem is your product solving and how?

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?
If the campaign goes well, we’ll reinvest the revenue into product development, customer onboarding, and marketing - so we can reach more creators and continue improving the experience. We’ll use feedback from Sumo-lings to shape upcoming features and refine the platform. Long term, we’re focused on helping users run recurring events, build evergreen content libraries, and create sustainable audience + revenue growth engines.
