I'm Ben, founder of HeySummit, and I'm genuinely excited to be back on AppSumo.

When we came back in May 2025, one of the best parts was hearing directly from the AppSumo community: what you were building, what was slowing you down, what you wished HeySummit could do better, and where the platform could become more useful for creators, coaches, educators, community builders, and teams running revenue-generating events.

Then we returned for Black Friday, heard even more from you, and that feedback has helped shape a huge amount of what we've shipped since.

Since June 2025, we've published 100+ product updates across HeySummit. Not little "we moved a button" updates, either. We've been focused on making HeySummit more flexible, more powerful, and easier to use for the kinds of real-world events Sumo-lings run: summits, workshops, virtual conferences, hybrid events, evergreen experiences, paid trainings, lead-generation events, and community-driven launches.

A few highlights:

✅ A completely rebuilt live engagement experience
We rebuilt chat, Q&A, and live polls from the ground up, added the Event Lobby for real-time networking, and introduced more granular controls for how attendees interact during each talk.

✅ More ways to monetize and convert
We added flexible pricing, direct checkout links, conditional ticket availability, improved checkout flows, specific ticket CTAs, multiple payment providers, and Razorpay support.

✅ A better experience for hybrid, in-person, and certificate-based events
We improved attendance tracking, Zoom sync, giveaway eligibility, live and replay reporting, on-site check-ins, and attendance certificates for hybrid events.

✅ More control over branding and event pages
We expanded the page builder with reusable blocks, new content components, image carousels, SVG support, custom visual accents, live font previews, and deeper theme controls.

✅ A smoother setup workflow for repeat events
We added bulk tools for copying talks, shifting schedules, applying evergreen settings, importing content, managing event tags, and handling team access more easily.

✅ More integrations and developer flexibility
We added new CRM integrations, Twitch streaming, new webhooks, expanded Events API data, and better support for syncing custom registration data through the API.

✅ Better speaker, sponsor, and affiliate workflows
We improved speaker submissions, speaker onboarding, sponsor management, speaker and sponsor ticket access, affiliate approvals, affiliate agreements, and speaker-specific affiliate commissions.

Ben from HeySummit here. I’ve read every one of your comments over the past few days, and I’m thrilled to say we’ve already turned that feedback into action - the upgraded deal is live right now, with several big improvements you asked for.

🎛️ What’s changing:

• We're massively reducing our transaction fees for events with paid ticket sales. These have been reduced to 2 %, 2 %, 1.5 %, 1 %, 0.75 % (depending on how many codes you stack).

• Even though we didn't get any feedback on attendee limits, on reflection we felt we could do better! And so attendee limits are increasing by as much as 150%💥 Attendee limits have now been increased to 1,500 / 3,000 / 10,000 / 20,000 / 35,000 (again, depending on how many codes you stack).

• A number of you really wanted to see outgoing webhooks and full API access (usually reserved for our top plan) included if all 5 codes are stacked - and so we've gone ahead and done that 🎉 This is going to be super helpful for power‑users and custom workflows.
