Our current approach is intentionally focused on templates rather than fully open-ended generation. The reason is simple: we optimize for speed, consistency, and predictable results. There are already many AI tools that let you create almost anything from a prompt or animate arbitrary content, but they often require significantly more trial and error, prompting, time, and cost to achieve a production-ready result.

With Magic, our goal is to help users create high-quality content in minutes with a much more reliable outcome.

That said, we're always listening to our users. If we see strong demand for custom templates or more open-ended image-to-video workflows, we'll absolutely consider adding those capabilities in the future.
