thanks for coming to AppSumo.
It looks like the system is optimized for mobile. Can I create videos for YouTube or not? What is the output format? Is horizontal possible or is this a vertical only thing?

The available output formats depend on the template you're using. Many templates support multiple aspect ratios, including 16:9 for YouTube, as well as vertical formats such as 9:16 for Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
Magic is not limited to vertical video, although aspect ratio options may vary from one template to another.
Thanks for your quick reply. Is there a way for us to take a look into the template library before purchasing? Also can I use my own 16:9 footage as a template?

Many templates can also be tested on the Free plan, although some features and templates are reserved for paid tiers.
As for using your own 16:9 footage as a template, that is not currently supported
