The AppSumo deal uses License Tiers 1–4 rather than our regular subscription plan names, so I want to make sure I'm answering the right question.

Deal terms state "All future Starter (Tier 1) or Pro (Tiers 2-4) Plan updates." However, T4 seems to align more with your business plan (including custom templates).

We updated our subscription structure relatively recently, after the AppSumo deal terms and naming had already been finalized. As a result, the wording in the deal references our previous plan naming.

I've been with sumo for a number of years now. Long enough to know that if that wording isn't changed, even if addressed in Q&A, then sumo will not honor it, should you decide not to. It matters that it be updated to reflect you intentions as sumo is not known for being a customer-centric platform unless legally obligated to. I hope you will consider updating this for those of us on T4.
