Another AI generator in an already crowded space.

New updates in my previous review:

I upgraded because earlier replies strongly suggested that advanced workflows and deeper customisation were actively in the works. That mattered, because without real workflow capability, this is much harder to justify as a serious tool for brand teams, agencies, or structured client work.

After upgrading, the gap became clearer.

The product does generate decent outputs, and in some cases the quality is better than several competing tools. So this is not about the core generation being useless. The problem is that the broader positioning feels overstated compared to what is actually available today.

The biggest issue is expectation mismatch. Earlier communication gave the impression that Magicfit was moving toward a more complete marketing workflow system, with reusable flows, structured automation, trend-based inputs, scraping, and deeper operational flexibility. After upgrading and asking follow-up questions, that direction now feels far less concrete than initially presented.

Right now, it still feels much closer to a prompt-based generation app than to a real strategic content production system. I really expected you to go in this direction, based on the reply to my suggestions and what was important for my user cases and what professional Brands and marketing teams are looking for, everything else is just generic gimmick, you can find in any app

There are also product clarity issues:

Editing flexibility is still limited
No real flow builder with selectable nodes
No proper post-generation video editing workflow
Too many templates still feel generic or commercially unrealistic for professional brand use

So my updated view is this:
there is some real potential in the generation quality, but too much of the higher-value promise still feels unproven. If the workflow, automation, research, and system-level capabilities actually become real, this could become much more compelling. Today, I do not think the product yet supports the broader impression that helped justify the upgrade.

At this stage, I would rate it more cautiously.

I’ve tested a lot of these tools, so my first impression wasn’t great. The heavy use of unrealistic, gimmicky templates immediately stood out, and honestly, that’s one of the worst trends in AI right now, both in apps and across social media.

However, after speaking with the team, I got a different perspective. They’re actively shifting toward more authentic, professional-grade content, targeting brands and agencies rather than gimmick-driven outputs. There are also plans for more advanced workflows, including trends, web - and SoMe scrapers nodes and marketing analysis to support the full marketing journey as I understood..

After testing several tools and templates, I was genuinely surprised, the output quality is stronger than many competing platforms. That said, it still lacks control. I’d like to see more pre- and editing capabilities and ideally a proper video clips-editor to combine and refine scenes and more top AI models for both image, video and upscale + LLM’s.
A whiteboard for flow builder with different nodes (a mix og phygital and DFirst) would be great.

Support started strong with fast responses, but then dropped off completely, which raises some concerns?

At its current stage, I’d rate it 4 tacos. The potential is clearly there, and if the roadmap is executed as promised, this could easily become a 5-taco tool.

For now, I’m upgrading to the top tier based on that potential, but execution will be the real test.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed review, this is super valuable 🙌

I do want to push back slightly on the “gimmicky templates” point. The templates are actually quite intentional, they’re designed based on what’s already working across thousands of e-commerce ads and campaigns. The goal isn’t novelty for the sake of it, but repeatable, performance-driven formats that convert.

That said, your broader points are completely fair:
• More control and editing flexibility is something we’re actively improving
• Advanced workflows and deeper customization are already in the works
• Support dip recently is on us, and we’re tightening that up

Also, would love to turn this into a 5-taco experience for you. Happy to offer some additional one-time credits and get on a quick 1:1 to help you dial in outputs specifically for your use case, that usually makes a big difference.

Feel free to reach out at [email protected] or via Intercom, and we’ll take it forward right away.

Appreciate you giving it a shot and upgrading, we’ll make sure it pays off 🚀
