Scam

They are not supporting ltd holders with mailbird next. They mislead us all into believing they would offer lifetime support for their product and instead are just creating a new one and leaving those of us who paid for the ltd out of it.

Mailbird is going to shaft all their existing users next year??

So they sold everyone an "LTD", and now they announce that they will stop development of Mailbird in 2023, and now focus on their new subscription product "Mailbird Next".

Mailbird get it now, right now

I have emails forwarded from websites going to Gmail. It was a royal pain to set them up. I just set up 14 email accounts and it took 5 minutes if that. It was Name, Email Adress, Password, and next. How freaking awesome is that? So, looking thru each one or as one inclusive inbox is so clean and easy. You can respond from the same panel as you are reading them and it will track the email. I just installed this and I can't be happier. There are a ton of other cool features, that I will get to, but reading all of my accounts from one place is a game-changer.

Interface looks good and organised but..

Bought this, and have tried using it for a week.

Love:

(1) Coming from Thunderbird and Microsoft, I love Mailbird's inbox, the design and that I can see my calendar right next to my inbox that day.

(2) I love it that I have all my communication apps within one software, without the need for me to move out to communicate on a different platform.

(3) I love the email tracking feature - it let me know when my clients etc. have read my emails.

(4) I love the 'Undo sending' feature, and the fact that it let me set up to 1 min before it send, so that I have some time to click 'undo' if I need.

Not so good:

(1) Whatspp, Messenger, etc. integration - these are all very slow to load and use, and they feels 'heavy'.. although there is no problem executing what I need to do at the moment (1 week of trying the software). But some apps, like WeChat, is not working well.

(2) I read that Mailbird Next is coming, and read the following on the site - reading that, I think I might just refund my current Mailbird purchase - I don't want to get it, and then after a year or so, there's no more support. As of now, the support is quite slow.

What will happen to my current Mailbird?
Initially, nothing. We'll continue to offer updates to the current version well into 2023, developing Mailbird Next in parallel. Later, we'll focus entirely on Next to bring out new and exciting improvements faster and to more devices. While still offering maintenance updates for the current version, the latest and best experience will be on Mailbird Next.
