Q: Mail sending limit over SES fee

I need clarification, when I bring in my SES key, and after my limit is over, will I be charged by MaiBluster or I will be charged by Amazon directly for the SES utilization?

A: Hi, thank you for asking.
Yes, after your email credit limit is over, you will be charged separately by both MailBluster and Amazon according to your usage. After reaching the limit, MailBluster will charge you $0.40 per 1,000 emails (the regular price is $0.60 per 1,000 emails). Plus, there is no yearly subscription fee ($60).
Also, AWS charges are typically very low— $0.10 per 1000 emails, or even free if you're within AWS's free tier, which is very cost-effective.

So say for 100 000 emails sent out that would be around $50 in total ( Mailbluster + AWS). Is my math correct?

Yes, that's correct!
AWS gives you 3,000 free emails per month for the first year. So if you're sending within your first year on AWS, your total cost would be around $40 (Mailbluster) + $9.70 (AWS) = $49.70.
After the first year, once the AWS free tier (3k free emails) ends, it would be $40 + $10 = $50.
