Q: I've read all the questions thus far, and I know this has already been touched on.
So, please forgive me for asking you to come back to this. My concern is long-term viability as a company. I understand that startups on AppSumo are startups, they may work out or they may fold. And, for every startup that worked, someone bet on them when it was a risk. I'm not asking so much for the sake of $40 for this deal, I can risk that. But, what I am concerned about is betting my reputation on Maileroo with my clients. Ever since MailChannels shutdown their Cloudflare offering I've spent a ton of hours researching the options. Most have some type of fatal flaw. And, by watching the reviews over the years, I see that free offerings are getting smaller or going away. Maileroo has everything I'm looking for, with the most generous free tier that is 66% larger than the next largest one. And, you're offering me a way to pay a one-time fee for lifetime benefit. I love that too.
My question is this: Why should I bet on you when you offer such a large free tier and one-time / lifetime benefits to users? I, as the consumer, love both things! But, they make me uneasy because that is nobody's recipe for long-term business success these days.
In the end, I'll probably do this deal because I like your offering so much and I may move a number of clients over to your offering (many of them will be well-within the free tier usage for a while). So, I'd like to see you guys get some money. But, I'll be I'm not the only person a little leary of this. I thought I'd give you another opportunity to address this concern.
I hope I wasn't rude in any way, if I didn't like what you're doing (a lot) I wouldn't be here!

Jun 26, 2024A: Hello,
Thank you very much for asking us about this and don't worry at all! I did not perceive this as rude at all but we want to provide everyone who uses Maileroo with as much confidence as we can.
It is no secret that we are a new startup only been around publically since late 2023 and we have seen such positive growth from both Appsumo and outside this platform. So much so that we have expanded our operations and have been able to afford to add additional help in our development departments. Whilst this might not mean much to others, it shows we have had growth and a positive one at that.
Maileroo is a completely bootstrapped small startup with a long runway. We operate and control our infrastructure so we have the capability of operating for several years as a worst-case (assuming the business makes no money) but we are very confident in the offering here and as mentioned have seen great success and positivity come outside of the Appsumo platform.
AppSumo was a wonderful way for us to provide a limited amount of users for a limited time a lifetime deal (which expires in a couple of days as of this reply) so I won't sit here and say it is a great long-term business decision as the reality of it is that it isn't. In knowing this we have only provided a very limited amount of codes and provide those who give Maileroo a shot in our early days a chance to cement themselves into this as a thank-you for trusting us.
We understand your concern also regarding your reputation and I am sorry to hear about your previous situations with other offerings not working out. At Maileroo we have gained thousands of users since late 2023 and we are sending millions of emails per month on behalf of all of them. We have a strict signup process for everyone to ensure we have users complying with our sending policy which in turn will allow our other users in the shared IP pool to have no issues with their deliverability.
So if you wish to give us a shot, you have 60 days with AppSumo to refund in full what you paid. But I would love to revisit this conversation with you personally outside of Appsumo and hear about how Maileroo has been for you.
If there is anything else you need answered or want to ask about, our live chat is available on our website or you can send an email to our support team. Once again I thank you for writing all of that up and I hope I addressed all your concerns.
Kind regards,
Patrick. Y
