Q: Hello!
I'd like to use the features of mailpoet to send cold marketing emails.
Can I do this if I use my own server?
I have no need to use an external server like yours, but rather like the look of the software itself.
Also, can images be personalised?
Like Lemlist personalisation (ie, an image, with a merge tag text field on top)

If you are going to send with your own sending method, then that's fine. Just be aware that your subscriber limit will be the same as your AppSumo plan. If you need to send to unlimited subscribers then you'll need to purchase a Premium license on our website.

Thanks for getting back to me, sounds good.
I've played around with the system a bit, and it looks good to me, the only thing I was hoping you might have on your roadmap is free positioning for elements.
I like to personalise images (Put a contact's name on a coffee-cup/whiteboard etc) much like they have available over at Lemlist.
I've managed to use a background image for a row, and then put my element in a specific column within that row, but it's not perfect, and makes it a little difficult to get positioning just right.
Another way to think of this feature is like the 'hotspots' feature you see on many page builders these days, for example: https://crocoblock.com/widgets/hotspots/ would be amazing if we could put a contact's name (Or other merge tag) in there.
If this is on your roadmap, I'll likely buy another 3-4 codes.
