Q: I've been searching/reading all the posts and your Documentation and I'm still confused.

Could you please explain the below question like I'm 5 years old? It might help others feel more secure in purchasing as well. :-)

I have an 8000-name Mailchimp list. I understand I can import these names easily. But I'm confused about what happens next. Am I then required to send them reconfirmation emails? Your docs talk about confirming names using a different sending method. It gets very confusing. Are you suggesting I reconfirm them BEFORE importing them, or requiring I reconfirm them AFTER I import them, but not using your email servers, or something else entirely? Please give your preferred step-by-step process so it's clear?

This may have been already asked but phrased differently, however I can't find a clear explanation. Thank you!

A: Yes, this is an important question. I'm glad you asked.

Most Mailchimp users who switch to MailPoet don't run into issues on their first send. So try that first.

I we detect that your list has a few issues, we'll help you clean up your list for free.

Here's a tip we like to share with Mailchimp users to clean their list: https://mailchimp.com/help/identify-inactive-subscribers/

MailPoet does this by default so you won't have to do that manually once you switch to us. :)

Thank you. So to confirm the essential question: MP does NOT require me to re-confirm all my subscribers before my first MP send, correct? That is a key question. You will accept that they are valid list members as imported, correct? :-)

Though you do recommend I clean my list before starting, which is fine. I know I have some non-openers in the list currently, as the list was started 8 years ago.
