So limited!
I was so glad to see that deal coming. One way to leave Mailchimp!
But after trying it, I had so many disappointment...
1) bilingual newsletter
Forget about it! You can only use Mailpoet for one language at a time. Bilingual website? Too bad, won't work.
2) lack of automations
Tried to install the abandonned cart notification. They have several templates for that.
But we can't add the abandonned product on the newsletter. What's the point?
3) poor email editor
There aren't enough settings to edit emails. They truly need to improve that part.
I'm thinking about going back to Mailchimp or Sendinblue maybe?
Quite disappointed.

We're sorry to hear you're disappointed with the plugin.
Indeed, we do not support multilingual websites or plugins officially. We don't have any integration with those popular plugins to automatically detect the different languages and send newsletters for each one of them. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
The Abandoned Cart email is an incomplete feature and we agree with you. We're already working to have a shortcode to display the products in the email, so it will be a big improvement.
Regarding our email editor, we believe we have a significant number of options to create a nice newsletter. We also offer 50 templates that were created with our editor, so you can have an idea of what you can do with the editor. It's sad to hear you think we do not have many options when it's possible to achieve a beautiful result. But we respect your opinion and we will continue to work and improve our plugin thanks to your feedback.
