Waste of time

I am really sorry to write that Mailpoet sending service is a pure waste of time.

Here my experience. I've used Mailpoet only to send emails to customers of the e-commerce of one of my clients.
1. I cleaned up the list using proofy and emaillistverify
2. I created in Mailpoet 2 lists with only the "clean" email addresses (less than 10.000 addresses)
3. I sent an email asking them to confirm their newsletter subscription (they are real customers that had already subscribed the newsletter, it was just another layer of security)
4. I received the ban from Maipoet: "MailPoet Sending Service has been suspended for your account because we received too many spam complaints from your subscribers. The MailPoet Sending Service has been permanently disabled for your account".
5. I replied to the email explaining the situation. Bruna confirmed the ban.

I have been working with sending emails for many years and I have never received a ban or complaints about spam from any provider.
I can't find any other words for Mailpoet if not: a total waste of time.

Hi there,

We're really sorry to hear about your experience.

I believe this was a misunderstanding. You clearly care about your lists and tried to act according to what we expect from our users. However, once you received the notification from spam complaints for the first time (and your account was not suspended by that time), you've followed our instructions to reconfirm all your subscribers. The problem was that you did it using our own sending service, and that got your account temporarily suspended.

Please note that cleaning the lists reduce the chances of having invalid email addresses in your subscriber's list, but the problem with your sending was related to spam complaints (from valid email addresses).

I understand it's frustrating, and it was due to a mistake. We would be willing to work with you to have this situation solved, but you told us you'd prefer to request a refund and didn't seem interested in keep using the plugin.

We're still here if you change your mind. You're welcome to write to us so we can find a way to restore the MailPoet Sending Service for your account.
